For employees exposed to high noise levels, monitoring is necessary to determine the required protective equipment. Perform OSHA and IEC cumulative noise surveys to determine total noise exposure over an 8-hour period. The SL400 is a compact, lightweight dosimeter with a USB interface, developed to test noise exposure and provide noise surveys in compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DOD, ACGIH, and ISO standards. PC software is used to control settings and retrieve stored events or analyze real-time measurements.
